I put in the Arsenal and City games as examples where you just had to applaud the opposition as they were that much better as Blackpool fans did and Tranmere fans also did for us at those two games.

I still have very very fond memories of the 4-0 win at Blackpool in 1994....that cracking goal by Dylan Kerr that opened the scoring, his subsequent shirt over head celebration and a couple of Reading fans breaking past the barrier to celebrate. What a day.

Reading 3-3 Forest - I almost got beaten up in the SU just for being a Reading fan, and my mate almost got beaten up for being a Forest fan and yet drinking with me.

That's a laugh, "xenophobe", considering we have our own foreigners. I was not there to appreciate the "talent" of the opposition, I was there to watch Reading win and losing 4-0 was a disgrace.

Would like to add the Palace home game which was just a superb game of football 3-2 win

4-3 against Oxford, also the 3 wins over West Ham, in particular the 2-0 and 6-0 wins.

FTR I think VM is right including that Arsenal game. 1 down in about 30 seconds to a bit of genius and it was an all out massacre. Something that i can say is I saw Thierry Henry at his best play at Reading and he was supreme that evening, they all were to be fair to them.

Up 'n' at 'em two hours before daybreak on the coldest day of the winter, two buses to the pub for a 6:45 AM KO.

Since it was the day's early game, the bar was beginning to fill up with the Utd/Chelase/Toon/'Pool gloryseekers as Sidwell finished off his brace late on.

Also my 40th and the day that BHO announced his candidacy. Doesn't get any better, although 3-1 over Tottenham at home under similar circumstances comes close.

Those are just the ones off the top of my head. Unfortunately I get to much fewer games now that we're actually good, as opposed to when were on a downward slide in the mid to late 90s. Too much beer means I struggle to remember what games I went to after a season finishes these days.
