Kris Boyd having medical at Brum tomorrow.
Loan deal lined up for Bouazza.
Already signed Scott Sinclair.

Good signings for them.

If they don't go up administration beckons - they're betting the house on this season.

They've also signed Keith Fahey and Robin Shroot.

How many players do they want? Final throw of their dice - if they don't go up they are going to be truly fcuked. (edit, as just said by Dirk, was doing my research before hitting POST..!)

Phillips, McSheffrey, Bent, Jerome, McFadden, O'Connor, Sinclair, Boyd, Bouazza - all strikers? :o

Shows how oxf*rd the scottish league is, the top goalscorer gets signed by a championship team that aren't even top.

They can 'ave 'em. Bowyer is nothing but trouble, and Boyd is a lazy cnut.

Boyd's £4m move now on hoLOLd.

They'll have to cope with the 73 strikers they currently have then.

Unless they are planning on selling a couple....im sure they wouldn't bring in that many if they werent planning on playing them!

Rangers will almost certainly sell Kris Boyd to Birmingham by the end of the week.

Fire sale at Rangers if that happens for less than 5M

Why would Rangers even think about selling a striker that has twenty goals already this season, and has been the their top scorer for three seasons running?

Unless they needed the money.

If he does go, I would bet that it will go down well up there.

Sinclair, Bouazza, McSheffrey and McFaden can all play wide. Still a lot, can't see injuries effeecting them up front though...

They will take second. Or they should. I know we have many a blinkered Reading fan on here, but they're squad is so much stronger than hours.
But we've proved before that you don't necessarily need the best squad to get promoted, but more often than not, you do.

Truly a classic Jay post. Up and down, in and out, twist and turn, hedge and re-hedge with a few grammatical errors chucked in. What more could we want?

If only they could be certain of that! All it takes is our "inferior squad" to over-perform, them to have a run of injuries or supsension, a few bad decisions or a dressing-room fall-out from all these unahppy players fighting for places.

Nothing is certain in football, but the point is that the risk of not suceeding that they're opening themselves up to potentially administration (plus points deductions of 10 and maybe 25 points) is a massive one.

For us the impact of coming 3rd in a 3 horse race (and then failing in the play-offs) is losing afew players and trying again. For them it may be the whole existance of the club under their ownership, and almost certain relegation, too.
