I'm angry. Stop doing this, Hunt.

But read the 'report' and you will struggle to find any substance to support the heading. So he wants to play in the PL rather than the Championship. The NOW could get that quote out of any Championship player if they wanted to!!

Seems a case of Sky and the NOW trying to make a story out of nothing.

Maybe so, but it just winds me up that it's always being brought up.
Hopefully Coppell can talk to him about ignoring press.

For what it's worth, my brother in law, my nephew and I all thoroughly enjoyed the Watford game. I thought it was extremely good. I wouldn't go as far as to say great, but I tend to reserve that for really special games.

In the first half we were sloppy but clearly the better and more dangerous team. In the second half we proved it. We won 4-0 and some sayit flattered us, but we could and probably should have had 6 or 7.

Hunty through on goal in the first half - shot tamely at the keeper with his weaker right. Kebe through on goal in the first half. The cross in the second half Kebe should have scored/won a penalty from. Lita's unbelievable miss with a defender nowhere in sight.

SHunt's going nowhere. I for one am very pleased.

And when was he supposed to have talked to the press? Sky/The NOW do not say 'yesterday' or indeed any time. I reckon if it had been said yesterday, they would have been very quick to have said so, in order to give more weight/value to the story. The fact is they could have dug up the quote from ages ago and I suspect that is just what they did.

He may well have steered clear of the subject for weeks/months for all we know.

It probably beat listening to the radio for once!!!!!

As an entertaining game or a decent performance it wasn't up to much but why do you think it means SHunt isnt going anywhere?

Well, we'll have to disagree on entertainment and quality. Going to a game is certainly much more fun than listening to the radio, but sadly I can't do that much. It's better to get an idea of the game by listening than to just guess what happened by what others post after the fact.

My opinion SHunt is going nowhere has little to do with the game the other night, and everything to do with my belief that there are very few clubs who need a left winger and can afford him and will attract him.

My happiness that I believe he is going nowhere has a lot to do with the game, as he was excellent.

We were all young and thought we knew everything about the club once. It's only when you've grown up and spent years watching the club you realise how little you knew.

It's not going to put his price up at all. It's £5m or nothing.

Bizarre as December certainly saw a noticeable dip in his performances IMHO.

Utterly pathetic decision. He's not even RFC player of December based on his performances during that month.

BBC Website Reading chalked up five straight wins, and Hunt netted his eighth goal of the season in the victory against Norwich.

Did he?

That is a frightening selection. I personally felt December was Hunt's worst month of the season, he was much much better on Friday night in particular in the 2nd half but for most of December he was very mediocre, not even close to our POTM let alone the league's.

I agree but 5 assists and a goal in a month ain't bad.

For me the only important question is whether Hunt's staying at the club improves/maintains our chances of promotion this year or otherwise. Particularly given the uncertainties about a replacement adapting to our style of play, IMO the answer is definitely the former. I hope that he stays.

I have seen Davies of Derby mentioned as a possible replacement. What do we know about him?

Err, yes, yes he did. 7 for Reading and 1 for Ireland - the 8th goal of the season being against Norwich.

According to today's Evening Standard Hunt is off to Spurs!!!

He is seen as next in line after Downing and will be part of plan of Redknapps to sign 5 players over next 3 weeks

This could turn out to be a very bad window for us if we loose hunt and lita and replace them with crap
