BBC say Man City have bid £13m for Hamburg's Nigel De Jong. He has a release clause that lets him leave for under £2m in the summer. Quite a premium City have offered for five months.

Looking forward to watching the Spurs / Portsmouth game. Spurs are not seen as relegation material. We shall see. Surely squeeky bum time for them on their current form.

Tony Adams does come across as a bumbling, rambling manager. Perhaps it's just his personality but wheres the passion needed for such a position.
