AF1 Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear has accused Manchester City of "taking the p***" over their bid for Shay Given.
He said: "We got offered £3m for Shay Given so I went back to Manchester City and said I'll have Stephen Ireland and Michael Johnson for £1m. If they're taking the p*** then I might as well."
