Royal With Cheese Alan Partridge Thaumagurist* I don't care how we perform as long as we're picking up the points. Remember, the quantity of points is more important than the quality of the football.
Yes and no. Especially if you go to a lot of games, end of the day you want to see good football as well. Be entertained and all that.
It's a good point Alan. I'm not sure how people would react to playing entertaining football and losing every week though! The bottom line is, in order of preferance:
a) Reading play entertaining football and win
b) Reading play badly and win
c) Reading play entertaining football and lose
d) Reading play badly and lose
e) Reading Play either Swansea or Ipswich Away!
Agreed which is why i put yes and no. Spacey is right in the view that if they win then it's job done but playing poorly regularly leads to more over the top views shall we say when they do lose because 'its been coming'. Especially if you go away from home as well and see it, when i used to go all the time if they'd played crap and lost away I would be fuming for ages about it in all honesty.
Obviously (a) is what fans are after all the time, it's not going to happen and you have to accept that over a 46 game season there will be times when they don't play well. I would definitely beone of those thinking that currently the team aren't playing well, 1 defeat in 10 on the face of it is excellent but
Reading have been below par for a number of weeks. They must step it up against Wolves next week. It could be just the game they need.
