Gordons Cumming HNA is such a laugh and ohhh sooooo predictable.

I predict a change in emphasis when we see off Wolves with their tails between their legs next Tuesday week.

Can't see us beating them. But I hope we do, I'll be there. I've seen some cracking games against Wolves as well.

What are you on about Spacey? Just because we beat a team 3-0 at their place, doesn't automatically mean we'll thrash them at ours. Footbal is a funny old game.

I didn't see the game, I did know about the result.

We are not in good form, and they had both of their wingers go off injured in that game. Makes a difference don't you think?

Did I say we'd thrash them? Ian said that he couldn't see us winning, I just provided some evidence that we could win. back at ya.

I'd say a three nil thrashing AWAY to a team is pretty much a thrashing in my book. And I'll repeat, just because you beat a team 3-0 away doesn't automatically mean that you will beat them at home.

Ian Royal We are not in good form,

Er, 1 defeat after an undefeated run of 9 league games is poor form? :|

Results do not necessarily equal good form. Tell me we've been playing at the top of our game for the last month and mean it. Go on, not even you can be that blinkered.

May I remind you we've won once in our last 5 games.

It doesn't matter how we're playing as long as we're getting the results. If we're picking up the points, then we're in form. The last win was only two games ago. And that was a great win.

We'll see how we do against Wolves, I can see us nicking it.

But you can't argue with 1 win in 5 can you. Nor can you say that we are playing very well. The quality of our performance is a good indicator to use for future results. Jammy 1-0 wins or 1-1 draws are not.

Why can you not accept that I think we'll lose? You yourself think we'll only "nick it".

Your clearly both using different terms of the word.

We are in form as we've only lost once in 10 league games, but during that run the performances have not been good, in that sense we've been in poor form.

I don't care how we perform as long as we're picking up the points. Remember, the quantity of points is more important than the quality of the football.

Yes and no. Especially if you go to a lot of games, end of the day you want to see good football as well. Be entertained and all that.

It's a good point Alan. I'm not sure how people would react to playing entertaining football and losing every week though! The bottom line is, in order of preferance:

a) Reading play entertaining football and win
b) Reading play badly and win
c) Reading play entertaining football and lose
d) Reading play badly and lose
e) Reading Play either Swansea or Ipswich Away!

Agreed which is why i put yes and no. Spacey is right in the view that if they win then it's job done but playing poorly regularly leads to more over the top views shall we say when they do lose because 'its been coming'. Especially if you go away from home as well and see it, when i used to go all the time if they'd played crap and lost away I would be fuming for ages about it in all honesty.

Obviously (a) is what fans are after all the time, it's not going to happen and you have to accept that over a 46 game season there will be times when they don't play well. I would definitely beone of those thinking that currently the team aren't playing well, 1 defeat in 10 on the face of it is excellent but
Reading have been below par for a number of weeks. They must step it up against Wolves next week. It could be just the game they need.
