cmonurz Fulham offered £30k, so it's a bit of a no-brainer.

I'm afraid I just don't get it. Who can spend more than £20k a week anyway?

It's more about investing the money though, isn't it? If Bullard is paid 50% more then he can create his soccer school quicker, buy more land, buy more property aboard etc.

The only reason I can think of someone like Spurs not being in for him is down to his potential knee problems

I'm surprised nobody came out with that at the start of the season when Hull were signing Geovanni & Boateng. :|

30 this year, dodgy knees. I can see why bigger clubs didnt take the risk. Can also understand why at 30 and with dodgy knees he's gone for a long contract on high wages. Its not like he's been earning big cash for that long and he'll be a long time retired.

Geovanni's been rubbish for the last six weeks. May well turn into Hull's version of Seol-ki-Yun...

Btw I should know I put him in my fantasy team and he has been poo ever since.

He hasn't got an assist in his last five starts and hasn't scored in his last 8.

I have taken heed of Snowball's statistical prowess

Who cares that he has been off form for the past few weeks?

His form at the start of the season has Hull in with a fighting chance of staying up

I know he's not been great since, what, early December. But given how that deal was quite heavily mocked at the time, I think people should man up a bit about it.

Given that Bullard went to Fulham for £2.5 million in the summer we went up, it was precisely one of the transfers that I think we could have made at that time. I like him. He comes across as utterly likeable and, although not the best player, someone who realises it and works hard to make up any deficiencies.
