Victor Meldrew Personally I think that neither Long nor Lita are much cop and if we go up wouldn't be good enough for the Premiership.
I would like to see another striker brought in now and as discussed many times under many topics not another littl'un.

Snowball Long started in preference to Hunt against Palace and Ipswich.
That's one way to put it. Not necessarily true though.

Ian Royal Lita and Hunt would make reasonably acceptable subs and back up squad players. Providing we're doing reasonably well, Lita is quite likely to perform in the prem due to big gameitis.

There you go again.. Opinion based on nonsense.
Doyle 28 league games of 86 minutes each this season = 17 goals
Hunt 22 league games of 60 minutes each this season = 10 goals
Overall, matched up for time on pitch there is nothing between them, but the
HNA pundits keep arguing that it's easier to score against tired defences,
late on, and guess what? Hunt and Doyle in the first 65 minutes are
exactly matched goals-wise HUNT 10 Doyle 10
BUT REMEMBER
DOYLE HAS PLAYED 28 GAMES = (1 IN 2.8 GAMES)
HUNT HAS PLAYED 22 GAMES = (1 IN 2.2 GAMES)
SO HUNT IS A CLEARLY MORE PROLIFIC STRIKER FOR THE FIRST HOUR
You think Doyle would have scored 10 goals in 22 60-minute games?
Answer NO, he has scored 10 goals in 28 x 65 minute games
He's a good player, but what says he's a better striker than Hunt? The stats say he isn't (if we are talking just goals)
The reason he has more goals is because he's scored seven goals after Hunt has gone off and been replaced by Long!!

Seven Doyle goals from 17 in the last 24 minutes. But Hunt gets taken off most games around the 60-65 minute mark so there's no way he can score!!

Yellowcoat For those of you who are so keen to slag off members of our team such as Long, without any proper evidence, have a look at the clip of the work done by him to set up the third goal at Wolves. Shown for free on the official site at the moment. Take your blinkers off and watch the header to start the move and the speed of movement by both him and Cisse who is another deemed not good enough by some. Watching games without preconceived views would be a new experience to certain posters.

So one move in a few years make up for everything
