West Sussex Royal I used to stand right behind the Tilehurst End goal in the 1970's and never saw Death light up during a game. Used to see him having a ciggie in Prospect Park after training though - think they all smoked in those days though.....

Gordons Cumming In one of the papers it said that Steve Death used to smoke a cigarette during the record breaking games as he was so confident of the team in front of him.
Anyone remember that fact?

Terminal Boardom To lose a record to a team chasing major honours is no disgrace. I am just relieved that we didn't lost it ot the likes of Hereford or Darlington - if you get my drift.
