weLOLcome back.

Means that Hunt just isn't aware or been made aware of any possible bid yet. I can't see much happening today anywhere really.

Crowthorne Royal How many of our current squad would cope / allow us to stay up in the PL

Fed/Hahn - Just about
Rosenior/Armstrong - Just about
None of the midfield other than perhaps Cisse
Doyle - No better than the likes of Marlon King, Bednar, Beattie, Fuller etc (i.e the bottom clubs)
N Hunt - Maybe
Lita - In our 2nd season never looked good enough

In what universe is NHunt better than Doyle?

Erm, squad clearly not strong enough, hence two new players brought in. Why wait till the last day to do that?

Most boring club in the league? Maybe, but at least we're organised. Look at all the dozy twonks having to schlep through the snow in order to do last minute deals.

Tbh the closing of the January Transfer Window shouldn't be delayed just for the sake of the big clubs. If they want to sign players why haven't they done it in the past month?

Apparently they're extending because the FA is snowed under...I'll get me coat.

The whole transfer window idea is a sham, so it's no surprise that they're asking for more time. Fergie for one will no doubt be after an extra four minutes.

Absolute disgrace if they change the deadline. Serves them right if players can't get there at the last minute.

It's just laughable why they wait until the last minute when they've have a whole month to do the deals!

I can't get excited about it. It's a purely arbitary deadline anyway one day here or there makes no difference.

Crowthorne Royal Haven't seen a dickie bird about us signing anyone (par for the course as usual)....Madejski/Coppell will give it the usual 'we have a strong squad' etc, etc.

What are you dribbling about? We've signed two players already this window and no one's gone yet (with, what, 3 hours to go?). How can you possibly translate that into negativity about our transfer dealings?

It's more about completing deals already in progress rather than starting deals from scratch - so an agreement still has to be finalised and paper registered before the deadline - but medicals and finalising things could be done tomorrow.
