TommyF Shorey wanted by Redknapp apparently, which is why they'll let Bale go.

Surely they'll let Bale go because he's completely incapable of defending?

In which case why bother to sign Shorey?

Four Of Clubs Slightly off-topic - but in anorak mode I went 'non-league' today and amidst the frozen pitches managed to see a great (-ish) game @ Arlesey Town.

They are sponsored by 'Kits' own fashion clothing firm Chateau Roux.

Fair play to the chap for remembering his roots. His names plastered in glowing terms all over their web site too.

Also nice to see one of his No.12 Royals signed shirts on proud display in their bar.

Amusing that he has called it Chateau Roux, bearing in mind his dislike for being called ginger.

Stoke have agreed a fee for James Beattie, perhaps Kitson will get his wish sooner rather than later

BBC

1449: Championship Mole rears his ugly head once more: "With Henri Camara following James Beattie to Stoke, where does that leave summer record signing Dave Kitson? Out in the cold, that's where. And no-one wants to be out in the cold on a day like today. I whiff the opportunity of a confidence-building Championship loan move for the flame-haired striker." He might just be right, you know.

No way will Kitson take a step down a league, far too big an ego for that.....

Kits is well and truly buggered now.

Beattie, Fuller, Camara, Sidbie and Cresswell all ahead of him.

The last 2 arent the best but it seems Pulis rates them.

I wonder if Kits is Cardiffs mystery striker?

Nope - just announced that Cardiff have re-signed Chopra on loan til the end of the season.

Kits will have to sit on the bench (at best) for the rest of the season.

Always thought he was overatted. He was a very good goal scorer until he decided he was Teddy Sherringham.

Doesn't fit the way Stoke play at all, I doubt he'll make it on the bench, esp when Sidibe gets back.

Cresswell.

No fanks - widely acknowledged as the one of the main "billy big bollocks" last season. No need to undermine the squad morale so NO DEAL.

Absolutely love Dave Kitson and he's probably my favourite Reading player of all time but for me it's a case of "NEVER GO BACK"

Sidebe's been playing up front while Fuller's been suspended.

He's just trying to copy Dave Kitson.
Dave can advise him on suitable alternative transport arrangements.
