No big loss in my book.

One good season, four either rubbish or injured.

Drifted in and out of games, more ability than Hunt but less suited to the English game.

Bit harsh Statto.

Good player. One fantastic season. Big contributer to the 106.

Lost his place and his way. Move on and good luck.

+1

Good luck to him though, part of the record breaking team so he deserves respect for that

No more than was expected but he leaves with the best wishes of just about everyone connected to RFC.

His goal against Millwall should have won Goal of the season and his pass to Harper sealed our best result in the Prem

Thanks for everything, Bobby.

SteveRoyal Well done Bobby Convey.
Sorry to see you leave.

This leaves me slightly worried about our left-hand side now, seeing as we now only have 4 natural left-footers (correct me if I'm wrong) in Harper, S Hunt, Armstrong and Harding.

If Harding doesn't manage to perform well for us it leaves us in a bit of a dilemma, seeing as Harper isn't exactly going to be the most amazing left winger in the country.

Still, in Coppell We Trust.

yeah! cos every one else has got more than two 1st team left wingers in their squads aint they?!

Cheers Bobby.

Not up to much these days, but had one awesome season.

Millwall @ home and Burnley away. Great goals!

Shame that Bobby is leaving.

I guess he was unable to come back as strongly from his injury problems.

Good luck Bobby. It was great watching you on the flank.

Can't be bothered to read all this thread but San Jose Earthquakes already announced 2 days ago that they had signed Convey.

Good luck Booby.

I'm gutted by the way it's ended. In my eyes though, he was one of our best players, in our greatest ever team that demolished The Championship. Which is something that definitely deserves respect.

In my head he left a couple of years ago so I declare myself emotionally unaffected by this departure.

Hopefully Obama will be able to bring the best out of him.

The doubt implied in this remark is a stoning offence.

Nice send off, everyone. I hope Bobby has some inkling of how well he was regarded.

I suppose I need to get tix to the Earthquakes visit to Giants Stadium in May although I don't really care for the Red Bulls. But I can wear my hoops and cheer for Bobby!

A great shame. When fully fit and in form he is a truly class player and there were times when we were fortunate enough to see that.

As far as I can remember, he always kept his head down, mouth shut and was fully supportive of anything the club did on and off the pitch.

Thanks for the memories and all you did for us Bobby. Good Luck for the future.

Sad news, expected him to leave when his contract expired at the end of the season anyway, but to leave mid-season like this has rather come as a shock.

Pretty upset to see him go, still not sure he was given enough changes, following injuries.

Sad to see him go and but for the injuries picked up during and after the world cup who knows what may have happened - he certainly has ten times the talent and intelligence of Hunt, just a shame the way things panned out.

Good luck Bobby.
