I think it's time for schards to retract some of the points in the original post as they have quite clearly been proven to be inaccurate

I don't know why he doesn't do this-does he think there's a queue of about 50 bitter net warriors waiting to spurt onto the screen as he saus "ok ok i was wrong"?

Previous game I attended was Cardiff, so we were also second then - not that that was much better. Also managed to catch several games on TV this season and none have impressed me. The same faults in the team are there from last year, except they seem to be multiplying.

Madejski - clearly, his heart is not in it to the extent it was previously. He would love to sell out but can't find a buyer. He will keep the club sound and stable but has no intention of investing further funds or trying to push the club forwards.

That quote could have come from anytime in the last decade.

It's been JM's position for years and it is irrelevant in terms of this season or next season.

You could without much searching find other quotes from recent times which paint a very different picture.

Just did a quick Google.

No JM interviews saying anything about 'desperation' or losing interest.

Several saying he didn't like the 'obscene' cost of the Premiership, a couple stating he wasn't going to walk away and generally a familiar tone from him about the club needing to operate under sound financial principles.

Also mention that a buyer was more likely if we were in the Prem.

Nope, nothing about desperation - plenty abou ambition and wantin g the club to do well - but nothing about desperation.
