Am surprised that tickets for this one aren't on sale yet.

Odds of a decent turn out?

Its about time the club opened up the south stand as the season progresses. As we go further down the line the momentum might mean the demand for the supply is there. I so do not like looking at an empty south stand.

Don't see why - the game is 3.5 weeks away. I expect tickets to go on sale in the middle of next week

I'd be very surprised if we take more than 500 - we took a small following to Swansea and that's an hour closer.

I phoned the club on Monday to ask about Plymouth tickets, they said
that they expect them to be available from next week sometime.
With only 8 away gams remaining, and 3 of those being midweek and long
distances, I expect we will sell more than 500.
It is further than Swansea, but from folks that I talk to there is a preference
to go to Plymouth rather than Swansea.
Also, we have taken good turnouts to Plymouth in the past.
I am expecting around 1,000 to travel.

Looking at the fixture list, the next two away games are Sheff Wed and Plymouth. I'd expect to hear something about ticket details soon....

That's going to be some serious miles covered that week with Hillsbrough afterwards.

But still...

You could be right, but don't we take surprisingly large followings to Plymouth? IIRC we had something like 800 for the Tuesday night game a few years ago and well over a thousand in the 106 Year. I'll be making my first trip there anyhow.

I am looking into going. Very early start and late finish from Wilmslow on the train though. How far is the stadium from the station?
