Thanks for the memories Sonks; you wanted to move on, so did. We have moved on now, so what can you genuinely offer us by coming back?

Also, it could hardly be described as an "emergency" loan, could it? Coppell has said he is against these as they are a con - he is hardly going to now start doing a Brum and abusing the system.

Its a non-runner imho.

I saw that too. You can't really call that freebie rag a newspaper.

Main story on the back page of the EP today has Coppell all but saying "why would I want him back?"

I'd add Frimmers > Sonko

I'd even prefer AP at centre half ahead of Sonko!

It's not even about the quality of said player. His attitude last season was poor. Among the many 'disagreements,' he was at the centre of them, by all accounts. Sonko, Shorey, Kitson and A.Player that is still here.

Not Leroy, although he's been involved in enough for any team.

I'm not sure you could cut any more hair off the one I was thinking of. Who reputedly had stand offs with a couple of team mates.

Marcus certainly had a couple of reported rows but I suspect there is confusion between being a negative influence and having disagreements.

Leave him where he is, f***ing liability. If the worst happens and our centre halves are dropping like flies I would rather see Cisse drop back than Sonko come back. Rant over!!

CMRoyal The only reason to take him on loan would be to put him straight in the team. Why would we do that when Pearce/Duberry are doing so well? Complete bunkum.

Pearce and Duberry are not doing so well.
