Any news on how he got on - I saw he came off when they were 2:0 up, but had a player sent off. Does it mean it was a tactical substitution rather than because he was playing badly?

Interesting that.....I knew he was playing well out there, but to recall him means we must have some hope in him possibly breaking into the first team this season.

Playing for Reading is a big difference from playing for Tooting!

More likely that having sent James Henry out on loan there is a slot for him to play regularly in the reserves. With henry around Antonio would have barely been playing before. From what I've seen of him (admittedly not a huge amount) he's not ready for the first team yet

He's a raw player. A very, very raw player.
All steaks are great after a good cooking, though.

No shit. But if talent is there then there would be no reason not to put him on the bench for example. For a winger to have his goal scoring record of 1 a game so far this season is pretty impressive.

Michael Kightly came from non-league football you know.......as did Ian Wright.

Have a few mates that are T & M supporters and have seen him several times this season, accordingly he has great pace and can obviously find the back of the net.

He is certianly better than the level he is playing but maybe at league 2 possibly 1 level... we need champ/prem level players, thats not to say that he can't step up fairly quickly... wrighty being a prime example that if you have pure pace and know where the goal is no matter what level you play in it is hard to stop someone with those attributes.

Exactly, which is why having him on the bench as a Winger/Striker may not be an awful idea. Not forgetting the guy is only 18.

Let's give him a few reserve games first.

I saw his first game for our reserves and he was like a fish out of water. We've taken a bit of a punt on a player with talent but even talk of sticking him on the bench is premature - he's certainly nowhere near as good as Henry.

Perhaps. My original point was that they must have some reason for recalling him from his loan. (And filling the reserve RW spot is not it.)

James Henry scored a 90th minute equaliser against Swindon.

An amazing goal.

I was fortunate this evening to be invited to the Millwall Swindon game , thanks to CYC
The goal scored by James Henry was their goal of the season by a long way , and anybody recieving texts that JH was ordinary until this moment is talking a load of crap , second half he drifted to the left hand side and worked well with the Millwall No 3 Frampton and produced so many good crosses that it was only a matter of time before they equalised.
Unlike Kebe he can actually run and keep the ball at the same time , his crosses from corners and dead ball situations were top draw, its a shame that SC cant see what we saw this evening if he did i think he would push Kebe to the bench if he was still at Reading and not on loan.

Robson-Kanu was subbed about 15 mins before the end and was remote to say the least.

As for our old forward Cox he has found his level and IMO we were right to sell him

Saw the goal on TV, and it was a real cracker - and to take 2 points off Swindon, too - perfect! However, Henry has been OK without setting the world alight in our games, so I'm slightly surprised that you think that SC doesn't appreciate his ability. It could just be that the extra space afforded by a team near the bottom of League One would flatter Kebe equally as much, or maybe even more? Just playing devil's advocate.
