T.R.O.L.I. Don't see why - the game is 3.5 weeks away. I expect tickets to go on sale in the middle of next week

Looking at the fixture list, the next two away games are Sheff Wed and Plymouth. I'd expect to hear something about ticket details soon....

The middle of next week is soon.

Well, I'm glad the news about the tickets came sooner.

Wizard I am looking into going. Very early start and late finish from Wilmslow on the train though. How far is the stadium from the station?

An early mention for the Pennycomequick just down from the station is required here.

One of my favourite football pubs in the country.

Really ? Back to the drawing board then.

Is there anywhere else more or less on the way to the stadium from the station ?

The Wetherspoons mentioned in the FGG sounds like it is a bit in the other direction.

I'm guessing the Wetherspoos is a gay pub?

The Wetherspoons directions on FGG are misleading. Pass the Pennycomequick and go straight up the hill. The pub is on the junction at the top, about 3/4 mile, the ground is on the right, a five minute walk.

Bad news regarding Plymouth tickets.

Went to the ticket office and, as usual, asked for tickets at the back so I can stand, only to be told that the back 6 rows are reserved for families.

Unbelievable.

I hate to stereotype, but I suspect most families are fully paid up members of the "sit daahn" brigade, so I'm resigned to a tap on the shoulder about, oh, 20 seconds after kick off.

I'm taking the gf's son (only an extra £2) and he likes to stand up and sing. So I guess I'll be in those 6 rows.

Whilst I suspect most people will be going down and back in a day, for anyone who's planning to stay for the weekend Plymouth Aquarium really is worth a visit. We did it back in the 2004/5 season when we played on Tuesday night down there (admittedly, stopping down for a Tuesday night game probably made more sense than for a Saturday afternoon one).

Glad I gave it a miss.

I think it's families in the sense of the "adult plus junior ticket for £26" offer.

So could be an 18 year old and a 15 year old?

Going by their pricing policy:

Adults £24
Under 23's £16
Under 18's £7
Over 65's £16
Family ticket (one adult and one child) £26

I assume you could get away with a 23 year old and a 17 year old.
