specialjon Okay, he's not a disgrace but I think Glenn Little if possible to sign on loan would put us in a better postion to get promoted. Which was my original point.

But he doesn't head the ball so he must be a disgrace?

specialjon No wycombe, it was an example, summing up his lack of effort in general, i'd probably bore people to death if i outlined his lack of effort in every game.

no really, please do, i would find it most entertaining

I suspect you would.

He's a winger, we've got an 'effort' winger in Hunty. Take a look at him and come up with an angle to slate himm for.

kebe isn't in the side for 'effort'. He's there because he's pacy, tricky and does stuff that is really hard to defend against. He doesn;t do it enough, or consistently enough, but I'd say slating him for lack of effort is like slating Duberry for lack of dribbling skills - it's not really part of the job description (not that giving 100% effort is a BAD thing, it's just the wrong thing to have a go at kebe for)

I'd also say I though kebe did pretty well helping Kelly out against Wolves....

last two home games, AT LEAST, kebe has been showing great appetite for the defensive side of the game, often to be found tackling in our own half, and supporting his RB.

to pick on his effort shows serious blindness issues

Ditto for QPR away - Kebe very good defensively.

Reading are keen to re-sign Portsmouth winger Glen Little on loan for the rest of the season. (Daily Mirror)

whatever anyone says, Glen Little until the end of the season would put us in a better position than right now. proven player at this level and his experience in and around the dressing room as well as his quality on the pitch could be what we need right now.

Wouldn't say no, and more likely to to happen than Sonko back.

Still firmly in the paper talk nonsense category though

That's what I thought. Didn't he get an injury before Xmas? I presumed he was still sidelined.

He played on Boxing Day in the 4-1 home defeat to West Ham, so no he wasn't injured before Christmas. However he hasn' t appeared since that match.

Technically, he WAS injured before Xmas - he did his hamstring in October. HTH.

Stop clutching at straws, he had recovered from that injury. You were wrong just admit and then the world will be a happier place, or has your hubby's refusal to admit when he is wrong rubbed off on you? ;)

(Disclaimer: that is an attempt at sarcastic humour from me and is not intended as an insult to either you or Schards)

I wasn't wrong. I said I thought he was still injured. Then I said I thought he was injured before Xmas. Which was correct. I was incorrect that he was still injured. I still would be very surprised if we took him on loan, as he's never been the same since he did his achilles, but I would still be happy to see him back here. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. But, I'm sure you know that.

Yes I know that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but it is the form of wit that suits me best.

And I would love to see him back at the Madejski........

Really? i must say if he's fit to play I'd welcome him back and put him straight on that right side Saturday. The good thing with Little even though he must bee 33/34 now? Is even though he's a winger, he's had no pace to lose!

If he joined on a month's loan and we got a solid month out of him then great.

+1

Get him back if only for morale, and the atmosphere on his first game back. Can't see what harm it could do anyway
