Reserve team hints at changes for Saturday.

Reserve team announced for tomoorow, and none of Marek, Gunnar or NHunt are included. Tabb plays however, and Karacan is back after a month out.

This could suggest that those three will feature against Forest...

Although Harps and Cisse aren't in the reserves either which suggests they will still be involved....

Marek, Bryn and Hunt all appeared in the game last Saturday so it's just as likely they aren't in the reserves because of that - why have them playing twice a week ?

I would guess the team for Saturday will be:

Fed
Armstrong
Rose
Duberry
Pearce
Hunt (no chance he will be dropped)
Matejovsky
Gunnar/Cisse
Kebe
N. Hunt
Doyle

Bench
USA
Long
Tabb
Bikey
Cisse/Gunnar

I'm not sure that the 10 mins that NHunt got would keep him match fit.........

I think all this tells us is:-

Bikey won't be starting
N Hunt will be starting
Long might again not be on the bench
Tabb will likely only make the bench at best

My prediction of what the team will be:-

Fed
Rosey
Pearce
Doobs
Stretch
Kebe
Harper
Marek
S Hunt
Doyle
N Hunt

USA
Cisse
Gunnar
Tabb
Lita

To be honest, I doubt it means anything really.

You have Harper on bench - he cant do it in first XI so what are you expecting him to do from the bench? .....bringing on a sub is either to shore up defence or to go for a goal - neither of which Harper is good at

Assuming SC sticks with 4-4-2 he'll always have two CMs on the bench because they are expected to run their nuts off and that's not easy over a full 90 minutes when you're outnumbered.

Surely if SC does not pick him in the team it would be pointless putting him on the bench - I really cannot see him as an attacking supersub!! Either he is in or he is out and if he is in then even I will begin to doubt SC's sanity!

I wouldnt even put harper on the bench saturday

I think putting him in the reserves would be too big a blow to him and his head!!!

Captain to Reserves in the space of a week!!
