Southbank Old Boy As a cheap gamble that might pay off in the next six months or so

We buy plenty of players that dont turn out to be good enough but because they are cheap the club think its worth getting them and seeing what they can make of them

It looks like he hasnt made the grade as yet

Cork City Guilt payments!

Part of the deal for them to waive future rights to Doyle?

come on being realistic here, with coppell being against the loan system anyway, and four strikers already at the club who are capable and have the potential to score, we'll never bring kitson back in.

Bring back Trevor Senior.

Bring back Percy Freeman.

No? Then why bring back a striker who is also not scoring and is even more out of confidence than those we have here?

Anyone who thinks a player of the quality of Kitson would not add anything to our promotion push is eiter deluded, or still bitter following his departure.

He's not going to change the inability to play against 451 issue though is he?

Or indeed the woeful lack of supply to our frontmen?

Or the inability of our midfield to track back and tackle?

Did he score many between New Year 08 and the end of last campaign?

I would welcome back Kits. I think he and Nunt would be good together.

Mind you I would still like to see Kits and Curo together....

At other points of the season I would have answered in the negative. At the moment I would like to have Kitson back...

Southbank Old Boy A Kitson style player would be a great addition to the squad

It wont be Kitson himself though as his time has, unfortunately, passed

Maybe Mooney could be given a chance then?

Deluded!!!!

A striker who is off form and lacking confidence is not what we need to add to our squad at the moment.

gonesy What a much needed boost it would be for club and player if we could take him on loan! I'm sure his attitude wouldn't be as bad after scoring no goals and warming the bench for a bottom 3 side most of this season?

Stop living in the past and move on. Another striker is not what is needed

Yes, he links play between midfield and attack much better than anyone we have at the moment. It gives us another way through. He can also create chances and puts himself about too when his head is in the game.

He is taller than our other strikers and an easier target for the wingmen.

Gunnarsson was off the pace on Saturday but I don't think we generally have a problem in this area. It's not like we're leaking goals all the time.

Did any of the team perform between NY08 & pre-Derby away?

We know he's a natural goalscorer. Coming back here could boost his form & confidence, especially if the fans got behind him.

He has no form, as he has hardly kicked a ball since Derby in the Prem, he is a sicknote and he upset an awful lot of people with his superior attitude. Little would be a much better shout, or if we were blessed Welbeck.

I'm sorry but we also know that Doyle, HuntN, and Lita are 'natural goalscorers' so what does another natural scorer who isn't delivering add at this time?

Nothing, Big fat zero, nought, nil -- or maybe less than that.

Are you his cousin or something??

He is a striker that needs to have the ball played to him - with the suspect ball control we have now how does that help us. He also can't create space while on the ball.

Little would be good but he's a bigger sicknote than Kitson! It would only be for a loan. If we lose the next 2 games, it's got to be worth a shout before we play Donny away.

I just cannot see any of this happening.

Kitson - unrest and wanting premiership games - well he got them. Failed and is either benchwarming or injured.

Little - wanted to experience premiership football before finishing his career. Thought RFC owed him a season due to his injuries but the club wouldn't renew his contract.

A no to both IMO.
