Interesting that fans always talk about "if we win the games in hand..." whereas the professionals always seem to prefer points in the bag.
Also fans always come out with "given a bit of luck and when the manager sorts things out...." as if those things are bound to happen.
This is a crazy division where in the past 24 games played by the top three only 5 games have been won and that's relegation form for all 3.

Of course Reading can still win it and so can quite a few others but I should think fans of all those clubs are thinking "what the f*** will happen if we go up?" whereas fans of all-conquering Pompey and Reading in recent years felt that something special was happening and couldn't wait for the next season in The Premiership and true enough both of them did really well.

"If we don't get anything out of them then I think it's play offs abound barring a very very good run of form."

I agree though, if our players, and Coppell, are somewhat professional (which they are) then they'll go for the win every game.
With regards to next season, I would rather we go up and see what happens rather than bottle it and stay down in The Championship and wonder what might have been. Coppell et al should have learnt their lessons with regards to squad investment. If we end up struggling to go up and do then it'll be a different situation than when we walked the Championship.
