winchester_royal May I ask who out of Duberry (most consistent defender in the Champ) and Pearce (arguably the best youngster ever to come through our academy, dropping him now, especially after a number of good performances, will do his development no good) you are so keen to drop in order to accomodate the inconsistent Bikey?

Were a long ball team at the moment (which we should change). Doobs has chances to kick the ball, it normally ends up in the stands, i don't think there's much Doobs can do, that Bikey can't and maybe better.

How about defend the goal without making every single RFC supporter sweat in the process. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see BK play, but he is not the saviour that some make him out to be.

I do think Bikey is our best defender though. I do strongly agree that he is not a saviour in anyway. But i think he should be involved, minimum sub.

Armadillo Roadkill Dare to dream. He might make a change in tactics. It's improbable, not impossible.

There is absolutely no need to change tactics when we are playing a team with a similar 4-4-2 system, which is how Sheff Wnd are lining up.

Isn't that what's been our undoing? Sticking with 442 playing against 451.

We're not playing against 4-5-1 though. :|

It's worked aginst us. Implying adopting 451 against 442 can be a winning formation.

Not sure where this obsession with 4-5-1 comes from TBH.

Why change a system that the players know and are comfortable against in a wacky experiment in a crucial game?

Ludicrous.

I'll answer that. I'd drop the defender who was responsible for the two goals we let in against Bristol City.........Duberry.

Commentator praising Marek at the moment after a few great early passes, saying hes got the potential to be the best player in the league.

Cardiff 1-0 Barnsley as well.

I'd love to see Bikey playing too, but the notion that this would cure our tendency to play hoof-ball is laughable. Bikey is the biggest culprit in constantly trying to play "killer" 50-yard crossfield balls, which usually lose us possession. He should at least be on the bench.

AlexY25 Federici, Rosenior, Doobs, Pearce, Armstrong, Tabb, Shunt, Bryn, Marek, Doyle(c), Nhunt

Subs: USA, Cisse, Kebe, Long, Harper

Fecks sake. Bikey not in the 16 again. Pathetic.

Samrfc01 I never thought that i would say this BUT...

I would have liked to have seen Harper and Marek in the middle. At least Harper is one of the players that passes on the floor rather than hoof da ball and have Marek for his sheer brilliance (in ym eyes anyway).

I quite agree. It was our season-opening pairing IIRC and they didn't get enough time to gel.

I'm guessing Cisse is on bench instead of Bikey as Coppell sees him as more adaptable (midfield + defence, rather than just defence)

When are reading fans going to realise bikey has obviously had a falling out with coppell?

He is by FAR our best defender and would have had to do something pretty bad for this treatment. After his comments about moscow, punching a medic and comments about moving on when we got relegated, he clearly has an attitude problem.

He won't be playing for reading again, even though he can be absolute class at times.

Disgrace is a ridiculously strong word. You're normally fairly reasonable and objective pearcey, I'm suprised.
