I'm sure Dirk will be able to tell you better but ground regulations and licensing requirements (not the wishes of RFC) dictate that supporters are required to sit. If they were to tolerate standing in GU1 it would be pretty difficult to enforce the regulations elsewhere in the ground.
You only have to read all the bleating on here when a few away supporters are deemed to have got away with standing to see what the reaction elsewhere in the stadium would be.

So far eleven people have commited themselves to GU1. Please don't take the attitude of waiting for others to sign up before you do. If everybody does this then the turn out will be poor. If you are interested please visit or call the ticket office and book your seat.
