We sit by you at home games too
Were near enough the top row before the families start, so standing will not be easy

torbayroyal I have just looked at official Plymouth fc site. It says that they are doing a special for the Reading game of £15 for an adult ticket.
How come away fans have to pay more? I thought that this sort of thing was to be stamped out.

Dirk Gently It's called a "local promotion" - which is a specific promotion for a single game where the home club doesn't have to pass savings on to the away supporters.
Under Football Leageu rules clubs are allowed to do a certain number of these Local Promotions each season - I think it's 5 or 6 but I don't have the FL rulebook handy right now.

From the FSF:
......
While County may claim that reduced prices were a gesture of goodwill towards home fans they could also be in breach of Football League rules if the away support were in similar seats and not offered identical deals. If you’re one of the Rotherham fans who have been affected by this please get in touch with us via our usual email address info@fsf.org.uk.
