Plymouth Argyle MATCH THREAD sponsored by Andy Rogers and Mi

by Dick Habbin's hairdo » 07 Mar 2009 12:19

I just wanted to be the first to start a match thread for once (look at me :-O ) and pay respect to a winger we got from Devon who was very under-rated and even swallowed his tongue for RFC...

About time that the girls on the train were at Dawlish...

It's almost 2 hours until kick off, we don't know anything about the teams... why now?

Looking forward to this one.

No news on Doyle yet but I would guess he is not fit. Anyone know different?

Just got it

Cisse in Bryn out
Long in for Hunt
Kebe in for Tabb
Bikey on Bench

I'd rather NHunt for Long. Confused by Kebe's selection over Tabb. Tabb was deemed good enough to start at Hillsborough, but went off with an injury. So is he semi-fit, hence Kebe's recall? Or have those 45 minutes convinced Coppell he isn't as good as Kebe?

Not sure Marek is a good choice today - the pitch down there is worse than ours by all accounts.

I'm not sure Coppell would put a half fit Tabb on the bench so I would imagine he doesn't believe he deserves another start just yet.

Great bench, but one well taken goal doesn't equate to starting place for Long IMO. Especially when NHunt got an assist.

Perhaps NHunt was ineffective throughout the rest of the game......

I just get the feeling SSC doesn't rate Noel, especially when you consider he was dropped for Leroy when he came back.

I'm going for a 1-0 win to Reading.

Good team lineup.

I find that hard to believe given Coppell isn't an idiot, the number of goals Hunt's scored and the number of appearances he's had this season.

Well then perhaps you could offer an alternative reason for Noel's rather frequent appearances on the bench?
