The 17 Bus Let's hope he has learned a bit after his time at Pompey, perhaps he now knows what it is like to not be first choice and waiting your chance.

Personally I think it is a backward step, but lets hope he can help us take an auto place.

Will he be illegible for any play offs??

How can a loan move to bolster the squad be a backward step? It's not like we've signed him permanantly. I wouldn't have thought his loan would include play offs, but I'm not sure.

EDIT And now I'm sure I'm wrong

And if he plays well and we get promoted I can see him staying.

Hmm, I would of thought he'd be done after the loan deal.

Well he is clearly surplus to requirements at Pompey. I suppose it depends on them getting a new manager and how they feel about him. In any case, we can wonder about that at the end of the season.

so what does this mean for kebe and henry. on the plus side we have someone who can cross and add a bit of flair. on the negative, henry wont get a sniff at the first team now and will have dented his confidence a fair bit. kebe though...is he going to be dropped or switched to the left in place on shunt?
interesting dilemma for coppell.

Simply competition for Kebe as Henry is on loan at Millwall.

I'd be very suprised if Kebe didn't start against Charlton.

Without doubt Kebe will start but I suspect Glen may get a run out.

Only time will tell on this one.

I was a huge Little fan but how many games has he played in the last 2 years ?

With Henry back at the end of this week we've got plenty of wing cover and I agree that if this in fact signals that Henry doesn;t figure in plans then it is a backward step in some ways.

How will we use Little ? Hunt and Kebe have spent much of the last 2 games on the 'wrong' wings and I'd be happier with Kebe playing left and Little right but would question how effective Glenn would be over 90 mins. Will we see the old tactic of a double swap of wingers on the hour mark ? Little / Hunt for an hour then Kebe / Henry for 30 mins ?

I'm sure Kitson will relish the service though...

Waheey, the legend is back.
I wonder how often we'll get to see him stumbling down the wing. I've never seen a footballer look so incapable of keeping the ball only to twist and turn beating about 4 men. He was class and it will be good to see him back, only I'm worried it could be a bit of a dissapointment with the amount of games he's played since.

So pleased to see him back. Pehaps now we will get some service onto the danger areas. Always a legend for me.

I was really pleased with this news but now i've just remembered that I'm going to have to listen to the knob in front of m shout "Figo!" every time Glenn touches the ball. :x

As much as Im a fan of Little this is a kick in the teeth for Henry who is really making a case for himself at Millwall. Time to move on lad me thinks
