Beeb Gossip

Reading are set to re-sign Dave Kitson on loan - only seven months after they sold him to Stoke for £5.5m. (Various)

Birmingham are also interested in Kitson, with boss Alex McLeish prepared to offer £4m to sign the striker. (Daily Mirror)

Despite thinking this will be a backward step, it certainly gives us another attacking
dimension for the remaining games.

How much did we get for loaning him to Stoke?

Handy to have these prodigal sons resurrected for easter and the run in to the promised land.

Even if people do think this is a backwards step, if it stops Birmingham getting him on loan it's a good move.

BBC Berks seem to think it's a done deal (almost)

I'm surprised at the negativity of some of the callers.

Will really shake the frontline up. Perfect!

Wouldn't be a problem anyway if he went there.

He only scores goals for Reading.

He'd be useful as fourth or fifth striker in the Premiership

You know, as bad as Jay/Woodcote etc will find it, I honestly don't think it's a bad thing. We know they're good players, and if Kitson is humble enough to come back here, then maybe that shows that he really is up for this fight.

if true great news. never doubt sc when it comes to transfers. kits knows what its all about just like blakey and will slot back into the squad. does probably mean we wont see leroy again and although he played well the stats speak for themself. whens he back or playing we dont win or score. well i think they say that. snowball?
