My daughter is coming and whenever she wears her yellow coat, Reading win. My son went to the Charlton match, and my brother went to the Bristol City match.........so there !

of course, I may be proved wrong..........I am not a man given to gambling but feel Ipswich will score first then we will get one back and the mighty Kitson will seal the victory, the place will rock and I will feel justified sufficiently to treat myself to a celebratory chinese take way that evening ! :D

Reading 2 - 0 Ipswich - were due an early goal!!

Long 11, Marek 58 (free kick from 25 yards)

Stead sent off after 30 mins

There will be changes at the back - Coppell has hinted as much.

If BK plays - Ipswitch will not score. True Story.

So under the assumption that the Cameroonian plays:

Reading 2 - 0 Ipswitch

Long 14'
Kitson 57'

Under the assumption that Coppell sticks with the same backline:
Reading 2 - 2 Ipswitch

Long 14'
Stead 27'
Stead 46'
Kitson 57'

coppell seemed to say he was considering teh midfield as well

said something about marek creating things, but being a bit weak defensively
hopefully he wont drop him though, maybe just shift to 4-3-3?

Ipswich pose more of a threat than Charlton, but I think Reading will play better, so I'm going for a nervy 2-1 win.

lots of hoofball, will get another bad neck, will be thoroughly embarrassed to be played off the park yet again but will probably scrape a win, goals coming from set plays 2-1.

Unfortunately, I think this winless, frustrating run at home has got more legs in it.

2-1 to Ipswich (or 1-1 at best).

Reading 0 Ipswich 2

Lots of huff and puff, but a 5 man midfield does for us again.

I fully expect a nervy game on saturday, and I think this prediction may not be my head speaking, its me hoping more than anything.

Ipswich better away than at home, Reading worse at home than away. I'm still going for a 2 - 0 win for Reading (Long and Kitson - 89).

Regarding sendings-off, I believe that, in recent years, there have been more red cards in matches between Reading and Ipswich than with us and any other team, so we may see a dismissal Saturday  or

The now normal home match, with the managers comments after the defeat, "I was concerned about how we were playing, but we are still making chances so I am not too worried, and I had to sub Longy because he looked like he might grab an equaliser, the chairman should be happy as promotion, and the cost of it, is looking far less likely, so taking everything into consideration, a good performance"

Reading 1 Ipswich 2

Long 33 Millar 20
Lisbie 62
