Bill Oddie's Beard
Norfolk Royal I'll tell you what, we haven't got much to fear from Cardiff having seen them capitulate at Norwich last night. They were awful.

Tbf anyone who's seen our last 4 home games will be saying the same about us!

Oh come on. We are not that good!

Same as Tuesday apart from...

Not easy this. What I would like to see is Bikey in for Doobs, Tabb for shunt and Kits for Doyle.

I think the only change will be Kits in for Long even after Shane's 2 goal burst on Tuesday.

Fedders
Rosenior, BK, Pearce, Stretch
Glen, Marek, Cisse, Tabb
Doyle, Kits

bench; USA, gunnar, shunt, nhunt, long

Shunt doesnt deserve to keep his place on recent performances
BK is the man to sure up our faltering defence imo
Kits deserves a go. thats what he is here for not simply to add depth to the squad

^^^ what he said

Agreed. With a bench of USA, Little, Kitson, Cisse and Shunt.
Seems a tad harsh on Nhunt though :|

Compo's Hat Ipswich played 4-5-1 against Wolves tonight and offered little going forward according to the BBC website. 4-4-2 will not work yet again.

Can't wait!!!

Me Neither

After his superb goal for Norwich midweek, BRING BACK MOONEY :)

It's a bit harsh on Pearce, but I think BK needs to come back in but together with Pearce would be too young and have potential for mistakes.

Pearce has proven he will be a player in future for us, but atm I think Bikey and Doobs should play.

SC got a very interesting conundrum upfront:

Long - 3 goals in form undroppable
Doyle - leading goalscorer performing poorly
NHunt - didnt peform that well b4 his injury but since probably hasnt had enough of a chance
Kits - loan signing, something to prove

Imo it should be Long and Kits, Doyle and Nhunt on bench. SC now has 4 strikers who can all argue their individual merits, I don't think SC will put 2 strikers on bench, so one of 4 will miss out completely.

Fed
Ros
Strech
Bikey
Doobs

Kebe
Marek
Cisse
Tabb

Kits
Long

Bench
USA
Little
SHunt
Guna
Doyle

I think its debatable, I would say they have both been quite average recently. If Pearce is doing as well as an experienced defender he is showing his potential. We need to worry about the current situation, which imo BK and Doobs is the answer. Imo Doobs is playing worse for having to cover for Pearce.

Having 2 cbs one an academy prospect and the other a 22yr old (?) who is prone to lapses in concentration frightens me, considering the huge implications of next few games.

SC has said there will be changes just to rest players up and maximise freshness for the games we've got.

Kebe is out with a thigh injury and Cisse is a doubt with a foot problem but is likely to be fit enough.

So while there won't be mass changes there could be a couple, most likely Gunnarsson and Tabb starting in place of Hunt and Cisse in my mind.

Handsome Man Federici
Rosenior Pearce Bikey SHunt
Little Karacan Harper Tabb

really? you'd drop our most consistent performer this season for possibly our most inconsistant?

I'd go with

Federici
Rosenior
Armstrong
Bikey
Pearce

Little
S Hunt
Marek
Harper

Doyle
Long

Subs: hahnemann, Cisse, Tabb/Kebe, Kitson, N. Hunt

I just feel like we need to play Bikey for the composer and distribution. Tuesday night we had 3 out of the 4 defenders lumping it aimlessly up the park. And duberry is costing us goals with poor defending from set pieces at the moment

We need Harper to sit and get Marek into the dangerous positions behind the front two were i think he can be most effective

I can't decide on Kebe or tabb on the bench. Although Tabb looked good when he came on on Tuesday, Kebe's pace in the last 20 minutes I think just gives him the nod (dependant on whether he is fit or not)

Be exactly the same team as Tuesday I reckon. For me I would like to see Rosenior and SHunt dropped and replaced by Tabb/Kebe with Kelly/Bikey at right back

Drop Pearce AND Doobs? Sodje played against Cork alongside Bikey so no prob with understandings there. Sad truth is that there are very few definites on the team sheet.

Coppell said the other day that he regards Long as his best impact player.
With that in mind I would start with our best two front men,Doyle and Kitson and have Long on the bench.
Long has done o.k. in recent games with his usual chasing of lost causes and earned his penalty against the bottom club but Kitson is just a much better all-round footballer and Doyle is one of the top 3 strikers in this division so I feel that we should go with those two.
With Little on one wing and Tabb on the other we will hopefully see our strikers get good chances against an Ipswich side that has struggled in recent weeks.

I think Doobs has been under rated in his time here but his errors have been very costly of late and therefore makes way for the long over due return of our best centre half.

It would be easy to drop Long but this would be wrong after he's finally delivered the performance we've been looking for.

Doyle is a highly under rated winger with a very decent cross and Blakey looked a long way short of match fitness.

As much as I love Hunty, his recent form doesn't warrant a place in the 16.

Federici would consider himself unlucky to be dropped but I think USA remains the better keeper..............just. We also badly need some leadership and Marcus can provide that.
