Archie's penalty
The whole year inn Is it not a bit early for this?

If Kitson hits 7 or 8 goals between now and May he is the player of the season

Getting us promoted and swelling the RFC coffers

Well I started the thread originally, asking people as a prelim to the main award who did they think was player of the year. Slammed made it into a poll.

Why didn't you make a poll then?

I just wanted people's thoughts at the time. Don't worry there's nothing wrong with it being made into a poll. Interesting to see how far out ahead Stretch is...

Strech for me, although had Iver not been injured he would be in with a shout. You don't realise how good some players are until they are out of the team.

Why's he called stretch.
Is it by a stretch of the imagination he's just about good enough to lace Shorey's boots.

Nicky has more than enough time on his hands these days to lace his own boots.

If Coppell had been wise enough to play Bikey all season he would have won it by a mile. He was so solid on tues night and puts the whole team and fans at ease

Nicky has more than enough money in his hands these days to pay someone to lace his boot.

Armstrong has been a steady player but it is a measure of our decline that he would nave been nowhere near the team three seasons ago. Vintage Nicky`s passing, crossing, free kicks and vision would have opened up a few of those 4-5-1 teams that we have struggled against.

Doyle has never stopped working for the team, even when it has been tough to get goals. With Reading's long ball game, missing mid-field, and midget stike partners, Doyle's done a remarkable job to score as many as he has. Image where we'd be if he were not in the side.

If only Coppell had made Bikey play despite injury and suspension eh?

Who's Ingimarson? He doesn't deserve a vote but an extra 's' can we give him.
