Why do we never take advantage!?

Why is it that every time we get a bloody chance to make any ground on the top 2 we blow it, it's like they all think: "If Wolves lose we have to, too because they are so good". Pull your socks up Reading, if Wolves and Brum lose like they did today, 2-1 away to Sheffield United, we need to capatilise on these results, it's all very well us all saying on here: "But the results still mean if we win our games in hand, we're top" cos i doubt we will win one let alone them both. We couldv'e been top ages back with these results that have been flying about the top of the division, but i'm not giving up hope just yet, but if we do get into the Prem again, God help us.

We took advantage a lot during December.

It's an interesting season. But not really for particularly good reasons. There are half a dozen teams now in with a shout at the title let alone auto promotion, just because Wolves, B'ham and us have been so utterly woeful recently.

Let's be fair though, we were what 12 points behind not that long ago. So we must have taken advantage a few times !

But I agree it's incredibly frustrating. Luckily it must be equally frustrating at every club in the top 3

Apart from beating Wolves twice and Brum once we are an average Championship side. We all want to go up, but the expectation from the fans is too high. If you take away the nine points we have won from the top two it puts us on par with the likes of Bristol, Ipswich and Swansea.

Yes, but we got those nine points, so what's the use in doing that? Truth is we are a good Championship team, almost certainly the third best which unsurprisingly is where we have spent most of the season.
