Ivar's slow, but extremely solid and reads the game well. He's probably no longer Prem quality (assuming he ever was) but I can't think of any centre back in the Championship that I would replace him with. We are really missing his presence.

Murts was on BBCRB this morning, he was asked if the game was today would he be fit enough - his honest answer was no. However he is hopeful to be in contention by the time our next game comes around. Otherwise im sure it'll be Kelly putting his RB boots on.

I meant, we could go all the way to the prem next year.
I assume you point is that Ingi would be too slow in the prem if we went up this year?
I agree, but I also cant think of any of our current side that would cope well in the prem, if we do go up this year, and playing as we have done recently.
Unless we operate as a well oiled machine with SSC master tactics it could be a shocking prospect.

Absolute shite comparison. Sheringham didn't play in a position that would show him up for his lack of pace, where as with Ingi, and a nippy striker, its got bad news written all over it im afraid.

Murts as our captain has been a HUGE part of our success over the years. If he's not on the pitch I think he should be playing some sort of role on the bench! There has not been 1 captain this season that I have seen put a rocket up anyones's arse when they fcuked up or not doing their job properly. He was always having a go at Sonko!!
