He used to listen to the match reports etc halfway up a mountain as that was where the reception was best. I had to cope with world service. I had the choice of possible promotion against Bournemouth or risk the play-offs. I remember listening to the play off final in an internet cafe. After the game I went and got totally shitfaced. I was suicidal and didnt get home until 5am. I crawled into work at 9, left at 3 and told my ex-wife to drop dead! Got divorced shortly after so all in all a good result!
