Scouring the usual spots and can't find. Kinda surprised to find that Grafite's goal isn't old hat by now, but hey ho, it's here to enjoy and will live on for years, I gotta believe.
Perfect capper to an absolute asswhuppin' put on the champions of Germany and Champions League quarterfinalists in what was a huge game for both sides. Epic beatdown.

Defeat for FC Twente yesterday means that if Ajax fail to win in Eindhoven this arvo then AZ win the Dutch title despite also losing yesterday.

Wolfsburg now sit 3 points clear at the top of the German league with 6 left to play. If they were to win it would be the 6th different champion in 11 seasons
French league starting to look very interesting. Top 3 all play today with Lyon in 2nd place playing away at 3rd placed Bordeux. A win for Bordeux would give Lyon the jitters as it would leave them just 4 points ahead of 3 teams.

I have seen Nürnberg play quite a few times this season and it has not been a very rewarding experience. Still, up to second now and in with a very good chance of going back up first time of asking. Local rivals Greuther Fürth are in fourth - only goal difference between them and third. Third is not automatic promotion this season though - third last in the 1.Bundesliga play 3rd in the 2.Bundesliga, a system I am not sure I agree with.

I am very tempted to put some money on Real Madrid winning the league. The fixtures for them and Barcelona are just crazy but with Barca also playing Chelsea twice, potentially getting to the Copa Del Rey final and still to play Real Madrid it will be a tiring end to the season.

He went back to Norway 3-4 years ago if memory serves. Replaced by Galasek who has not really been replaced at all.

1.FCN dropped out of the top three today with a loss away to Frankfurt with local rivals Greuther Fürth now ahead of them. I am one of the fortunate few with a ticket (two) for Fürth at home to Nürnberg on May 10th. Exciting, no? The (terrace) tickets were €12.50, btw.
