I'm actually  at that.

There's a ... erm ... Nilis? goal from the late 90s where he scores from a tightish angle, running away from goal, with a back heel

RoyalChicagoFC Watch Wolfsburg destroy Bayern --and artfully-- on the first Bundesliga matchday off of the international break. This one stands alone.

 What a goal!

LOLz at the english commentator though.

Heh yup, that's the feed we got over here when they showed it on a couple hours' delay (and even knowing the outcome, I made the right call in watching it and then joining Fulham-Liverpool in progress). Then there's this goof.

Scouring the usual spots and can't find. Kinda surprised to find that Grafite's goal isn't old hat by now, but hey ho, it's here to enjoy and will live on for years, I gotta believe.

Perfect capper to an absolute asswhuppin' put on the champions of Germany and Champions League quarterfinalists in what was a huge game for both sides. Epic beatdown.

What a twat. Additional LOLz at the user comments. I don't know much German but I'm guessing that hammergeil is fairly uncomplimentary.

Great goal though.

AZ now five points from the Eredivisie title with five to play, beginning Friday nite away to the aforementioned Nooit opgeven altijd doorzetten Aangenaam door vermaak en nuttig door ontspanning Combinatie Breda.

Twente and Ajax in flagging pursuit, 11 and 12 points off the pace, respectively, with a date in the second qualifying round of the 2009/10 Champions League going to the runners up and a berth in the Europa League fourth qualifying round the consolation prize. AZ play both away on consecutive Sundays beginning at month's end but have an opportunity to sew up their first league title since 1980/1 by winning their two matches scheduled to be played before then.

Defeat for FC Twente yesterday means that if Ajax fail to win in Eindhoven this arvo then AZ win the Dutch title despite also losing yesterday.

Wolfsburg now sit 3 points clear at the top of the German league with 6 left to play. If they were to win it would be the 6th different champion in 11 seasons

French league starting to look very interesting. Top 3 all play today with Lyon in 2nd place playing away at 3rd placed Bordeux. A win for Bordeux would give Lyon the jitters as it would leave them just 4 points ahead of 3 teams.

I have seen Nürnberg play quite a few times this season and it has not been a very rewarding experience. Still, up to second now and in with a very good chance of going back up first time of asking. Local rivals Greuther Fürth are in fourth - only goal difference between them and third. Third is not automatic promotion this season though - third last in the 1.Bundesliga play 3rd in the 2.Bundesliga, a system I am not sure I agree with.

Inter 10 points clear in Serie A after draw against 2nd place Juventus in the Derby D'Italia.

Only 6 games remaining, so no doubt Inter will 'wrap this up' on the last day of the season.

I am very tempted to put some money on Real Madrid winning the league. The fixtures for them and Barcelona are just crazy but with Barca also playing Chelsea twice, potentially getting to the Copa Del Rey final and still to play Real Madrid it will be a tiring end to the season.

Anyone know the odds on Real Madrid winning it?

He went back to Norway 3-4 years ago if memory serves. Replaced by Galasek who has not really been replaced at all.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic I have won everything in Italy, I learnt a lot from Italy. But there is a moment in your life when you say to yourself you want to try something new,"

"I think Spanish football is more the way I play. I like technical football and they play technical there,"

"I have a contract with Inter but as the same time I would like to test something new now because I've been in Italy for five years

1.FCN dropped out of the top three today with a loss away to Frankfurt with local rivals Greuther Fürth now ahead of them. I am one of the fortunate few with a ticket (two) for Fürth at home to Nürnberg on May 10th. Exciting, no? The (terrace) tickets were €12.50, btw.
