0-3

I will be having my biggest bet of the season on a Sheff Utd win and backing 0-2, 0-3, 0-4 individually

I see no possible cause for optimism other than Halford is in the running for their player of the season

I think our only chance is to suffer an early sending-off or suffer a blatantly unfair penalty decision, etc.

Perhaps the anger at an injustice might get the passion and the work-rate going. It seems nothing else will!

Rugby match on Thursday night, so I predict a completely shite pitch, lots of hoofs up to kitson, and a 2-1 Reading win! 8)

Reading 0-4 Sheff Utd

Sheffield Utd will show us how to actually play football with a tap in, a screamer, a penalty and a late free kick.

Then Coppell will be "pleased" with the result.

Then I will cry. :(

It will be the game of the season, everyone one will say it was a fantastic result. These games always happen when I can't make it..

A suprising win. But then I always predict a win so don't mind me.

Reading 2 - Sheff U 0

Noel Hunt gets a brace.

Blades score early and control the game leading Coppell to 'keep' faith in his selection until they bang in another on 70 minutes, a kneejerk change to the squad that doesn't gel in time for their sucker third and when it does, an outstanding consolation goal from super sub ShLong.

1-3

Written all over it.

1-2 or 1-3. We seem to always beat them. But all good things must come to an end.

Another 0-0. Coppell will be pleased with the result, forgetting the fact that if we actually want to go up, 0-0s are pretty useless at this stage in the season.

This will be the enigma that we are this season, we struggle to beat the run-of-the-mill Championship sides, but against the top six sides we have been excellant !

3-0

Kitson 2
Doyle 1

Royal Lady I'd like a 2-0 win. It's more likely we'll lose 3-0. I can't even see us scoring.

(this should ensure now that we'll win about 8-0)

Can you put money on every possible positive result for the Blades RL...desperate times call for desperate measures and knowing how atrocious you are with the bookies it's the only option...
I feel I should, however, point out that I had Mon Mome e/w in the Grand National. Mind you, I also had State of Play to win - if only I'd swapped my bets around.

Nil nil or one nil to Reading.

Blades on a good run but I don't expect anything much. There are no exceptional teams in this league.

The chances are that this game won't matter now anyway. Birmingham about to go six ahead. If Utd get the nerves tomorrow and lose then both of us will be destined for play-offs.

In which case I predict 0-0 on a sh*te pitch with lots of long balls and a defensive midfield with no wing play.

Oh, and loads of boos from the East Stand followed by a thread on Hob Nob in the evening either trying to persuade us that we still have a chance or one that has a go at Harper and SHunt for being ineffective.
