Royalee If you look since Madejski's been here we've given the likes of Quinn/Gooding, Bullivant and Burns far too long to sort things out before acting. Coppell's time is up and his limitations have been there for all to see.

Ian Royal Yes I do. And clearly I know more than you, because we're about where I predicted (much higher than you did) and Derby aren't in the running for the play offs let alone champions.
I suggest you make some half decent predictions, before you start claiming you know more about football than me. Talking out your butt really doesn't help your case for being a hyper intelligent football genius.

I predicted relegation from November of last season and predicted a low playoff spot for this year although I'll have to admit I got the Derby one wrong. What did you make of today then seeing as you were there?

hughsies no.1 so royalee you say you never wanted ssc to stay but how could anyone have a bad word to say about him upto the wolves game where we beat them at home. yeah we had a few defeats but we were right up there and yes since then it has been woeful but every football club has these spells. without a doubt in my view no matter what division where in ssc will leave in the summer but with his head held high, if we would of taken all 3 points today we could still have been looking at automatic promotion! the problem is if a club has a couple of good seasons like we did getting promoted then in the first prem season missing out on the uefa cup a lot of supporters forget who we are and where we came from. expectations get ridiculously high. what is it you expect from this football club? im very dissapointed with how its gone since january and feel maybe it is time for a massive change around in the summer but i wont be calling for coppells head because he is sensible enough to realise he has done all he can for us and will walk out of the mad stad a reading legend!

The 17 Bus A post Xmas slump is very common in football, ask Newcastle, who were sailing away with the Prem a few seasons ago, ask Watford, last season should have been a doddle for them after Xmas.
Still I hope that thoise that have done sod all but moan as soon as a game went against us do not celebrate shoul we miraculously get promoted.

Schards#2 I suspect there are many, many managers who don't have a clue why their side played so poorly on a given day. I don't understand why Coppell is so castigated for, simply, admitting this.
