Posh to lose fergie

by The 17 Bus » 13 Apr 2009 19:26

Peterborough are resigned to losing D Ferguson in the summer, they say he will not be going to QPR as he like sto have more control than he would get there.

RFC it is then, would be well worth a £10 bet

I think you have contradicted yourself just a bit.

I would imagine he would like a semblance of job security also.

QPR is akin to a revolving door. Next to the Newcastle job, the fake hoops job is not one I would see any manager snap up without so much as a good skinful before making a decision.

Could potentially be the right man here. We'd be quite an attractive option assuming Madejski backs him financially. He'd have a degree of autonomy and if Hammond has a say in the appointment, you'd assume they could work together as well

Think of big ish name managers and then forget them.

It'll be a Kevin Dillon or someone equally less exciting.

Curbs was on the telly during the week saying how he was looking for a new job but as he had spent the best part of the last 10 years operating around 10th in the Prem that was the kind of stature club he was looking for

He was strongly linked with Sunderland. I cant see him coming to Reading

He'll never drop to Reading. QPR at the most, and that's because there could be money to play with and a greater level of ambition...we're told.

Reading will end up with a Mickey Adams, Peter Taylor or someone possibly less known.

I'd welcome Curbs and I think he might be interested if he felt we have enough for him to get us up in 1 or 2 seasons.

That would be a good thing.

The bad thing would be that if we developed any brilliant players, Man U would probably be allowed to buy them.
