I was handed an opportunity to go to see the Leeds Tranmere game for free yesterday,so off I went.
It was good to see Bas Savage run around for 80minutes again, until he was carted off on a stretcher, and we even got 10 minutes of Andy Hughes. But Sam Sodje played the entire game, and despite the og put in a good performance. He was rarely troubled, had time on the ball, and looked a class above the rest.
The og was one of those things- a headed back pass with the keeper coming forward to claim the ball at the same time, and it looped over his head and into the net- very slowly. It gave me the best laugh of the day.
I was distracted at the time of the 3rd Leeds goal, but I think Sam got an assist. The Leeds fans cheered his every move- there's no doubt they want him to stay.

If we don't go up then I think Sodje will have a big role to play with us next season.

Hamer and Bennett will League 2 winners medals if we win on Tuesday at D&R and Wycombe don't beat Luton

Don't we have to offer him a contract first?

Well they don't normally play for free.

I saw the Ipswich v Norwich highlights yesterday and what a header by Mooney. 12-15 yards out, stooping low. He got all the power and placement you could ever want, no chance for the keeper. He'll feature for us next season.

I think he was asking about his contract situation. You knew that too, but you enjoyed the chance to be patronizing. Anyhow, I assume his contract is up at the end of this season?

Congratulations on your excellent use of the quote facility to completely reverse the parties in the conversation.

Sigurdsson man of the match again and scored the only goal for Crewe against Cheltenham:

.....Brown beat out efforts from Sigurdsson – who was again head and shoulders above his team-mates with his energy and drive – and Moore.

Obviously not patronising enough then, eh?

Simon Cox just scored 2 more for Swindon and is League 1's top scorer. I know he's not our player any more but I also know that a lot of people on here like to keep track of how he's doing so I thought it was appropriate.

Cox might be a good player but he's a cocky b*stard:

Not really. He's confident and so he should be.

Well it certainly helped - what a time to score your first of the season.

Great scenes at Darlo where Bennett was the first to lead the team accross to celebrate with the fans at the end of the game and then great celebrations back at Griffin Park. It was reported that Ben Hamer was still in the pub outside the ground at around 3:00 this morning.

Luton at home next Saturday is going to be fun!
