RoyalChicagoFC So your bottom four in the Conference will be Lewes (now on 23 points), Northwich Victoria (40), Weymouth (43) and Woking (44), with potentially key final placements of the latter trio to be sorted out on Sunday.

So that's three southern clubs out of the four relegated. How does that work with a regionalised tier below - do they shuffle teams between Conf North and Conf South to get an even North/South split, or does the most 'northern' of the three southern clubs relegated just get shoved into Conf North?

T.R.O.L.I. It is primarily down to geography but (and it's a shame that Tony Kempster won't be continuing his website next year as he used to rip into the way they work it out) there are often anomalies - last year saw three teams in the Northern Premier who were actually more "southern" than three teams in the British Gas Premier.
