It's already been stated that RFC v Brum is on sky - therefore, if I were a Brum fan, I'd watch it up in Brum, then make my way to the club if they manage to get auto promotion. Mind you, they're not as clever!

Sun Tzu I'm not sure there should be much to be concerned about. Their support is no bigger or better than ours. Several thousand ticketless Brummies won't get near the ground unless they plan to tunnel in or have a teleporter.

So is there going to be a ticket check several hundred yards away from the stadium a la a Champions League final?

I doubt that TBH.

For matches such as this, there is always an "air-lock" system - there are ticket check barriers outside the away turnstiles, and supporters are searched and have a ticket check there, and then only allowed into the "air-lock" one at a time, so no way can anyone jib their way in without a ticket that way.

Fair enough - but that's not the same as Sun Tzu's comment that no ticketless Brummies will get near the ground!!

The 17 Bus Following the nonsense that went on during that Preston game it is time that Birmingham were deducted points for the behaviour of their fans, 10 points from the star of next season IMHO.

What went on? Only seen the goals from the game...

Two came on pitch during the game one of them to smack a Preston player but was caught by stewards. Coins and objects were thrown at the Preston scorer as he made his way back to the tunnel after being sent off.......nice

Brum striker tackled one, and two stewards got another, tho one was a nice blonde lass so he might have enjoyed it.

Thanks Schards, I knew I was right !

As you've spotted there is quite a difference between saying thousands of ticketless Brummies won't get near the ground and saying no one without a ticket will get near it !

Thousands travelling will be obvious to BTP, WMP and TVP. One bloke hoping to get lucky with a spare is a bit harder to spot, and isn;t going to casue a problem.

That God it isn't Brighton otherwise we would have to deal with 25,000 of their fans trying to get in

Don't patronise me. You implied that all those without tickets (i.e. thousands of ticketless Brummies) wouldn't get near the ground - you were asked how this would be implemented but didn't respond and now you're saying that BTP, WMP and TVP will be checking EVERYONE's ticket? Where? When? Then you decide that saying thousands of ticketless brummies doesn't mean ALL of them, and that one bloke might sneak in under the radar.
