Schards#2Sun Tzu I'm not sure there should be much to be concerned about. Their support is no bigger or better than ours. Several thousand ticketless Brummies won't get near the ground unless they plan to tunnel in or have a teleporter.
So is there going to be a ticket check several hundred yards away from the stadium a la a Champions League final?
I doubt that TBH.

Fair enough - but that's not the same as Sun Tzu's comment that no ticketless Brummies will get near the ground!!Dirk GentlySchards#2Sun Tzu I'm not sure there should be much to be concerned about. For matches such as this, there is always an "air-lock" system - there are ticket check barriers outside the away turnstiles, and supporters are searched and have a ticket check there, and then only allowed into the "air-lock" one at a time, so no way can anyone jib their way in without a ticket that way.

The 17 Bus Following the nonsense that went on during that Preston game it is time that Birmingham were deducted points for the behaviour of their fans, 10 points from the star of next season IMHO.

Harry Carry I work with BC ST holder. They're all coming down Saturday and will be drinking in Dogma before the game. 5,000ish coming down apparently.

OIC!!!! so SEVERAL THOUSAND ticketless brummies won't get near the ground, but one or two might. It's all clear as mud now.Sun TzuSchards#2Sun Tzu I'm not sure there should be much to be concerned about. Their support is no bigger or better than ours. Thanks Schards, I knew I was right !
As you've spotted there is quite a difference between saying thousands of ticketless Brummies won't get near the ground and saying no one without a ticket will get near it !
Thousands travelling will be obvious to BTP, WMP and TVP. One bloke hoping to get lucky with a spare is a bit harder to spot, and isn;t going to casue a problem.

Don't patronise me. You implied that all those without tickets (i.e. thousands of ticketless Brummies) wouldn't get near the ground - you were asked how this would be implemented but didn't respond and now you're saying that BTP, WMP and TVP will be checking EVERYONE's ticket? Where? When? Then you decide that saying thousands of ticketless brummies doesn't mean ALL of them, and that one bloke might sneak in under the radar.Sun TzuRoyal LadyOIC!!!! so SEVERAL THOUSAND ticketless brummies won't get near the ground, but one or two might. You are having a bad day aren't you.
Engage brain and then reply perhaps ?
