I'm just glad we're still fighting for something on the last day.

I've only made it to one home game all season, but i bought my tickets for the birmingham game back in february, expecting it to be crucial, and have watched in agony as the games have gone by and it's slipped out of our hands. The way things looked a couple of weeks ago i thought this match was going to be a 'dead-rubber', so the fact alone that we've still got a sniff of a chance is enough me for me. It's gonna make for a cracking afternoon and hopefully an amazing atmosphere.

It'll be cruel if it's snatched away from us at the death by sheff utd, but ultimately we'll get that second bite at the cherry whatever happens, so i'm just going to try and enjoy the game and whatever happens, not be too despondent at the end of it all!

It's Football, it's all about that irrational hope that maybe, just maybe everything will go our way.

If not, well it was an outside shot and it's on to (hopefully) being one of the form* teams in the play offs and trying to get a day out at Wembley. Once there it's such a lottery it's back to the irrational hope and trying to just have a good day out.

I guarantee that everyone where I sit will expect Reading to be 3-0 up at half-time and Sheffield Utd losing by the same. It's a joke. I'm just waiting for the boos to ring out at half-time when the game is goalless.

With the state of our pitch, our home form and the fact Utd are playing Colin's team, I think we'll end up fourth behind Brum in third. Anything else is a bonus.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be singing my heart out and celebrating like mad if we do go up. I f*cking love this game but it's a hell of a roller coaster at times!
