The 17 Bus Having now seen a photo of Laura i think we should double the offer, her prescence would brighten up the West a lot.
Not married either so obviously a bit of a slapper.
Maybe treble it.

YAWN. Same Jay, same mindless bullshit.
Surman is the sort of player we might go for if the opportunity arose regardless of Coppell's decision. Remember that Hammond plays a big part in identifying players and signing them. He may think it's worth going ahead with at that price regardless.
Although £2m seems a lot given Saints financial situation and relegation.

Sun Tzu We'll rake in huge sums in transfers if we don;t go up.
And we'll be into a major rebuilding phase.
I don;t think we'll spend 4 or 5 million on a player but 2 million is no big deal these days, especially for a very good youngster.
We shall see - but £4 million for Hunt with 50% on a replacement sounds like sound business to me, and very different to finding the money from the ongoing budget.

You're so easy!!
But you're also a fool if you think Reading will sign anyone for money like that if we stay down. Money if anything will be tighter than ever this summer!
Crack a smile, shock me!

Your definition of "huge sums" interests me. Which of our players fall into this category?
And, who, in their right minds, would spend £4m on shunt?

Nobody. Only the likes of Wolves, Brum/Sheff Utd and the lower Prem sides would look at him too IMO. Bigger clubs have watched him and gone cold on him. He was poor 99% of this season and was worse last season.
If we were offered £2m for him this summer, bargain!
Doyle would go for in the region of £4m though. Although inconsistant, he has scored the goals this season but could have doubled that had he been in a team that actually played football.
But no way will we have a few million to play with this summer if we stay down. Look at last summer and the money from Kits and Shorey. Did we see it? Not really, no. But you'll never convince Behindu/Sun Tzu otherwise. Even though money will be even tighter!
