Jobbo no.11 Alright now moving away from this does anyone no how many tickets we will be given if we do get to wembley and also is there any way of knowing where your ticket is, or is like normal away games, pot luck

I think we'd get about 35000 tickets

they would likely be sold in sections lower tier, middle tier, upper tier, maybe even section within that , with different price categories.

You would pick your section /price category so you'd have an idea of where your ticket would be

Lets not forget all the corporate backslappers who have already paid for the honour of not attending.

For those that have been to Burnley before... whats the ground like for visiting fans?
Does the away end have pillars obstructing your view etc? cheers.

Yep partially obstructed viewing..

To find the beer in the ground you have to walk to the far end of the concourse. Something worth knowing!!.

Away fans are housed in the covered David Fishwick Stand (formerly the Cricket Field Stand, named because there is a cricket field behind it) at one end of the ground. This stand accommodates 4,125 supporters. Burnley are generally a well supported club and there is normally a good atmosphere, however this can sometimes become quite intimidating for the away supporter making your way around the ground, so exercise discretion.

The away stand has two pillars which can affect your view and has old, wooden seats instead of plastic ones. The concourses below the stand are not for the faint-hearted if your team has a large away following, as it is like a rugby scrum to get a drink. There are some Burnley fans in the James Hargreaves Stand who do their best to get the atmosphere going.

Burnley cricket club is easily good enough for a pre match drink.

Would be interested to see if you could get more than one Wembley ticket on your season ticket if we make it.

Was down at the ticket office at 3 o'clock and stright in and done in a couple of minutes.

The concourse in the away end is like a worn out warehouse come corridor.
There is a little cubby hole where they serve refreshments from and if I recall correctly they have an old telly on top of a wall in the middle. They did have sky sports on it though!
It really is poor.
The stand is very dated with knackered seats and fits in well with the dreadful area the ground is situated in.

Apart from that its great

Just wondering if anyone knew how many tickets have been sold for the away leg so far?

I'm planning on going up tomorrow afternoon, surely there will be some left?

Turf more is one of those places that romantics call "a real old fashioned football ground". Turf more is also one of those places that everyone else calls "a right shithole".

I wonder how many home season ticket holders will be caught out by the 9pm deadline last night. For a game over a week away, it seems an extremely short period of time for season ticket holders to have the right to their seat. I didn't have any intention of applying before today until I noticed the deadline on Hob Nob.

I can appreciate that, for obvious reasons, they want to sell out before the 1st leg but I would have thought giving season ticket holders until, say, Wednesday, would still leave ample time and would spread the workload for the ticket office.

especially as there are plenty of non st seats availble, poor form by the club IMHO.
