As for the comments about the Burnley fans after the game - do you honestly think it would be any different tomorrow night if you turn this around? Or will it be handshakes and "I say, you chaps were mightly unlucky, good luck for next year" or will it be the usual Ha ha's?

brendywendy and for the silence of our fans throughout the game
brendywendy they actually laughed out loud when they heard us singing "shall we sing a song for you" and called it criminally ironic

rhroyal I have to disagree with braindead. I was embarrassed that we didn't sell out the away end for a play-off game on a Saturday. However from where I was, the fans who did turn up couldn't have made any more effort to make themselves heard. I was at the back, maybe down at the front people were being more reserved and quiet, that can happen with unreserved seating. However I'd still say that's the best away atmosphere I've been to (granted I've only been to 8 away games including Saturday). If the Burnley fans couldn't hear us, what more were we meant to do?

hughsies no.1 burnley fans were a bunch of w*nkers, the fella in the corner at the end with his two little asbo kids was unbelievable and a steward just stood and starred at him whilst he was goading us.

That was one of the highlights of the day for me - "sign on, sign on..."
