The club can be rid of Steve Coppell and finally start moving forward again. Roll on next season.

Idiot newbie question: is there a rule about letting non-supporters repeat the same old drivel repeatedly until we all get so bored we are forced to ignore everything they say?

Today is the end of an era.

Thanks for everything Steve. Still the greatest Reading manager ever and the man who helped us all live the dream.

Agreed.

It would be nice to finish it all at Wembley, but the pall hanging over the club - reflected by the OS's half-hearted coverage of the playoffs - suggests that's unlikely. I'm almost looking forward to the catharthis now, as painful as it might be.

I believe we're going to do it. We all need to believe otherwise there's no point in any of us going and getting behind the boys!
