Sorry.

With Nigel Howe talking about 'High-Level' interest in the RFC role, that surely will translate into a high placing in the Championship!

I envisage celebrations for me at around 2am in Hong Kong as we get a dramatic final minute winner against Burnley to secure 2nd spot. Due to the loss of Owen Coyle to a Premiership club that goal in fact sends them down and the play-off tie 12 months earlier looks so far in the past for both sides.

I've never celebrated an RFC promotion away from England.
Has anyone?

Was out of the country when we finished 8th in 2007. It was certainly worth celebrating. This will be my first promotion out of the country though.

Very exciting.
Can't wait until we get promoted next year.
Build up's gonna be so dull.

It wasn't so long ago Nigel Howe was talking about us being as big as Arsenal, so I suggest you take what he says with a pinch of salt, sweetness.

Oh I don't know, we are the Arsenal of the Championship.

We finished fourth and we're going to be using all the kids next year.

Brendan Rogers will be doing what no other RFC manager has done previously.

Possibly...

But I was thinking of promotion in their first season of management with RFC.

TBH I'd be happy to give him a year to bed in and get the youngsters playing at Prem level before we're promoted.

It's going to be fascinating in any respect as to all the questions we might have. What players he'll bring in. Who he fancies from the existing squad and how he'll use them, will he play to their strengths. Will we move away from 4-4-2. Which of our talented youngsters he'll play more frequently. Will he use his connections for any exciting loan players. Will morale be boosted and will any want-away players now stay. etc etc.

I personally can't wait now it's defined who the manager is!! Interesting Summer in the offing.
