No Hoops I like the idea of Sir Steve becoming Director of Football.
Wasn't Hammond approached by Arsenal last year, perhaps he could be off?
Not sure a new Manager would like Steve hanging around though.

Scarface I'm hoping this press conference will be to explain to fans the way forward for the club at a crucial time, however I fear it will be some Steve Coppell wnak fest fondly remembering the 2 good seasons out of the 6 in charge.
He's gone, lets get over it and move on, every day wasted without a manager is another day the other clubs steal a march on us.

Deathy Coppell knows he's been going since last summer, and so has the chairman.

Arnie_Pie 'Meanwhile, ex-Royals boss Coppell is being lined up to take on a new role developing future England stars as Premier League chiefs want him to take on a new Head of Youth job.' (The Sun)
Perfect job for Sir Steve is it is true.
